It's been a while since I last blog. Was quite busy with things in school - more and more responsibilities given. Stress~ nevertheless, we have fun as well. Went to Ngee Ann Poly on Thursday for a Dialogue in the Dark Exhibition. It was a great experience where the place is total darkness when you are in it and the only support you have is the walls, the company and of course our wonderful guide. It really tests the trust you have for each other and also caring for all so that no one gets lost in it. We get to "see" many things that we see in our everyday life, such as passing by a HDB corridor, boarding a speed boat at clark quay to "see" the merlion, showing each other things in total darkness (post box, trees, chairs, bridge). Most interestingly, we get to purchase packet drinks in the dark and drink and chat with our guide in the dark. Learning from our guides experiences of unable to see in his daily life, we learn to appreciate things and show empathy in future.

Another happening event is the Meet-the-parents session that took place the past Saturday. The turn out rate for my class is quite good, about 19 parents (making up a total number of people about 28). I felt quite nervous to share with the parents about the curriculum initially cos it was quite a big group. But, after a while, I managed to stable myself to finish the rest of the presentation. Phew... I'm glad it went well :)
